This poster is the transcript of a series of conversations I had with Andrew about the history/stories of Rio Cinema. I mapped out these stories and compiled them into this diagrammatic, yet chaotic timeline that celebrates Rio Cinema as a space in constant mutation.

John Philip Sage is a Graphic Designer and Researcher based in London. They design exhibitions, publications, workshops and other visual outlets. Both in commissioned and self-initiated work, they follow a research-based methodology. With a particular interest in education and academia, they are currently an associate member and tutor at STORE. Their practice is enriched by the trans-disciplinary collaborations they establish independently with other designers, supporting a more resilient form of a studio. |
